I'd just arrived and was getting my gear together when a little man with a little camera drove up in a very little car. "There'll be a train commin' thru in about 5-10 minutes. I just watched it as it passed through Benson [ed note: about 15 miles further east]. That's the west bound rail line. The east bound is down there in the cut." "Are you a train chaser?," I asked. "That I am!" he said proudly. Just then I could hear the rumble of the train coming down the tracks at about 30-35 mph. I just had enough time to twist on a polarizing filter and start shooting as the train crossed the bridge.
