Spend several days in northern Arizona, shooting at Grand Canyon and at the Anasazi ruins north of Flagstaff. There are now literally hundreds of images that have to be sorted and edited.

I just got a notice today that two on my images are being featured in the Tribes Group on FAA.
It's really encouraging to be recognized.

Yesterday I was contacted by the Amerind Foundation (Dragoon, AZ), one of the preeminent museums and archaeological/anthropological study centers focused on Native American cultures. They are planning a CD-ROM and web based introductory presentation for the organization and want to know if I would be interested in doing the still photography for the piece. We will be discussing the details shortly.

In the interest of full disclosure, some of my prints are available through their gift shop and, earlier, I did a screen saver disc for them that is also for sale in the shop.

Southern Pacific #1673
The plan for this weekend is to spend some time at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum. They have a fine example of a steam engine on display and I think it will be great material for detail shots.
Look for some new things in a week or so!

I just completed a self-published book of my photographic work from 2006 to 2010. Some of the images are for sale here ... others can only be found in the book. The book is "coffee table book" size and, if you're looking for a unique addition to your collection of photography books or for a "one of a kind" gift for a friend ... this just might be the thing!
