Roiling grey clouds menance the crowds lining the dirt street--they seem not to notice or care. White hat atop squared shoulders tell all of us the rider is riding for "Good". Building fronts harken back to the days when herds of cattle were driven down the street, and cowboys wore chaps, spurs and boots. Saturday night might be spent in a billiards parlor or saloon where a good time could be had by all for a few dollars. "Sporting women" might be part of that action. Nonetheless, Sunday meant going to church, nursing a hangover, eating a good old pot roast with freshly baked bread and getting ready for the next week's work.--maybe. Great photography Joe! F/V
