Description
A fiddle used by Yaqui musicians who accompany the performance of Pascola dancers and provide other musical entertainment in their home community. Lovingly made by Yaqui artisans in local hardwoods, the violin became an important instrument by the mid-1700s. This was played with a horsehair bow.
